Llantilio Pertholey Parents’, Teachers’ and Friends’ Association (PTFA)

​

We are a small but hard-working group of parents from the school. In a typical year we will raise approximately £2000-£3000 for the school and also raise donations for charities such as Children in Need. Our fund-raising activities throughout the year include: cake-stalls, Christmas and Summer fairs, discos, 100 Club and an Easter-Egg hunt. We also support the school by serving refreshments at Sports’ Day and for new parents as well as providing treats for the pupils such as a Christmas treat (eg. cinema trip), ice-lollies at Sports’ Day and a meal and presents for our Year 6 Leavers.

             

Obviously organising all this can take a lot of effort and we are always grateful to the parents who are happy to help out on any occasion. Please let us know if you would like to help whenever is convenient for you! All parents are also welcome to attend meetings where we guarantee a friendly atmosphere in which no one is pressured to do anything they don’t really want to do!
